History
In 2003 seven Woodbury leaders convened a variety of volunteer groups from the community to identify what was needed to further their charitable work in Woodbury. Armed with this information, the Friends of Woodbury began, focused on offering expertise, guidance and funding to other organizations. It was renamed and re-organized in 2006 as the Woodbury Community Foundation to better reflect the service the organization wanted to provide to the local community and its vision of the future.
