Partners:To expand the knowledge of our citizens in a way that encourages more involvement in our community, we initiated the first Woodbury Citizens’ Academy in spring 2010. Through the Academy, Woodbury citizens gain an understanding of how local public, private, and nonprofit sectors work in their respective areas, as well as in unison, to make Woodbury an exceptional place to live. The outcome we expect is greater community engagement, inspired volunteerism, and encouragement of philanthropy throughout our city.
This program is FREE. It is on a first come, first served basis beginning with Woodbury residents. Others are welcome if there is room.
