Bruce is Vice President of Minnwest Bank. His civic involvements include the South Washington County Education Foundation, Woodbury Athletic Association, St. Ambrose Church, and the Woodbury Sports Foundation. He has been involved with many civic, political, and volunteer issues. Bruce was selected as Woodbury Citizen of the Year in 1998.
