Historical Preservation
WCF is partnered with the Woodbury Heritage Society, whose mission is to preserve and document Woodbury’s history and to aid residents of our community in learning and understanding more about Woodbury’s early years. WCF is a Fiscal Sponsor for WHS related funds, and manages Inez Oehlke’s bequest for historical preservation as a Field of Interest Fund.
The Foundation partners with the Woodbury Heritage Society on the following projects for Historical Preservation:
Save the Miller Barn Fund: WCF served as fiscal sponsor for the project to save the historic Miller Barn, which is located at the City of Woodbury’s Valley Creek Park. Learn more about the history of Miller Barn Here. Funds raised to be used exclusively for ongoing maintenance of the Miller Barn.
