It is with great sadness that we share the news that, after a hard-fought battle against cancer, Jack Lanners passed away this week.
Jack was the owner of MGM Wine and Spirits, and was past chairman of the Metropolitan Airports Commission. He made enormous contributions to Woodbury through the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and the Woodbury Community Foundation, and the Woodbury Lions, to name a few.
His energy, intelligence, dedication, sense of humor and friendship to all of us cannot be replaced. He was a wonderful friend to all of us.
The Woodbury Community Foundation extends its deepest sympathies to Jack’s wife Norma, and children Sally, Tracy, and son-in-law Branden and their families.
On November 14, a visitation will be at St. Ambrose church from 9 to 11, and services at 11 o’clock. The celebration of life will be at 1 o’clock at the Pool and Yacht Club in Lilydale at 35E and Highway 13.
