Joan has been retired since April 2004 after having worked for 3M for 27 years and Imation for 8 years. The last 10 years were as Manager of the Marketing Information Systems at 3M and Sales & Marketing Team Lead of the Oracle conversion from 3M to Imation. The past six years, she have been involved with teaching religious education at St. Ambrose of Woodbury faith community and fulltime caregiver for her husband, Dan (Woodbury’s second Mayor), through his long illness. She has two sons, Pat and Danny, a daughter, Vicky, and four grandchildren. She has lived in Woodbury at various times since 1977.
