PROVIDING HEALTHY FOOD TO FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY

The Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf (CCEFS) envisions a community in which everyone has access to sufficient, nutritious food. We believe that access to healthy nutrition is a basic human right. Our mission is to provide nutritious food to our neighbors in a respectful manner while engaging our community in the fight against hunger.

A 501(c)3 non-profit corporation founded in 1983, CCEFS serves families in Landfall, Oakdale, Woodbury, and adjacent communities. While our name reflects the history of our founding, we serve all who come to us in need. We continually seek to improve and are not afraid to try new things to reach our goals. As an organization, we focus on excellence and innovation from the food that we provide to the methods we deploy to reach our customers.

Recently relocated to a new facility, CCEFS now serves over 1,300 families each month with more than 35 tons of food through its portfolio of programs. In addition to its direct service at the food shelf or through its mobile programs, CCEFS partners with nearby agencies such as Hope for the Journey Home, Century College Food Pantry and the food shelf at Halle Q Brown in St. Paul.
