Roger recently retired as Vice President, Strategy, Policy Marketing & Communications for the HealthEast Care System in Saint Paul. Roger is married and has a daughter in college. He has lived in Woodbury since 1991 and has been very engaged in the community both in an out of Woodbury. He has served on the Woodbury Housing Task Force, Woodbury Community Land Trust, the Woodbury Economic Development Committee, the Woodbury/Cottage Grove League of Woman Voters, and the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce as a Past President and a member of the Board of Directors for several years in mid-to-late 1980’s. He has coached t-ball, softball, and soccer with Woodbury Athletic Association as well as been a “Dancing Dad” at Woodbury Dance Center. Beyond Woodbury, he has volunteered for Face to Face Health and Counseling Service, Cancer Benefit Fund, Transfiguration Catholic Church’s Finance Committee, and Global Health Ministries. He also has served as Chair of Learning for Life Committee for the Northern Star Council of Boy Scouts of America, a fundraising volunteer for the Friends of Scouting, and on numerous committees for the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce over the last 22 years. He was selected Woodbury Citizen of the Year in 2008.
