Woodbury Community Foundation’s Fest 2021 “The Greatest Community” Will Be Held In-Person April 30
Friday, March 19, 2021 – Come One, Come All! Step right up for a night under the Big Top! Join us for an unforgettable evening on Friday, April 30. In response to new guidance from the State of Minnesota on holding in-person events, Woodbury Community Foundation’s Fest 2021 fundraiser will proceed as an in-person event on Friday, April 30, 2021 at John P. Furber Farm in Cottage Grove. Attendees will park and walk around the circus-style event “The Greatest Community,” (based on The Greatest Showman) and held around the outdoor and indoor grounds of the property. The event is presented by Ballast Advisors – Woodbury.
“Initially planned as a drive-through event, we feel confident that with the new guidance for events from Gov. Walz, we can utilize the large outdoor grounds at Furber Farm to execute a safe, socially-distanced in-person event that helps bring people together for a great cause in the Woodbury community,” says Jodi Ritacca Carlini, Chair of the Woodbury Community Foundation.
Attendees will purchase tickets for staggered start times and general admission will provide a “walking-tour” style event, and ticket holders will have around 90 minutes to visit different stations such as: live circus performances and entertainers; interactive carnival-style fundraising games; an opportunity to visit the on-site food truck and cash bar (which are available to purchase separately on site if you choose) and participate in our mobile auction fundraiser. The world has felt a little like a circus, but with your help – A million dreams for Woodbury, we’re gonna make.
