Tom was born in Woodbury, attended Concordia University in Irvine, California, Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri and, after four years serving as an Associate Pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, Florida, he moved back to Woodbury. Tom and his wife Stephanie live in Woodbury and he serves as Pastor for Mission and Outreach at Woodbury Lutheran Church.
