SUMMARY:What Will the Transfer of Wealth Mean for Woodbury?
DESCRIPTION:The Woodbury Community Foundation invites you to a special conversation with University of Minnesota Extension about what this generational transfer could mean for Woodbury. For our communities to continue to thrive\, it’s essential for Minnesotans to reinvest a portion of their assets into the places where they built careers\, raised their families\, and enjoyed the good life with neighbors and friends. \n  \n📅 Monday\, November 9th\n📍 Woodbury Central Park Amphitheater – 8595 Central Park Place Woodbury MN 55125\n🕒 5:30pm Registration and 6pm Presentation \nWhy this matters…\nAs families make decisions about estates\, assets and the legacies they want to leave behind\, financial advisors\, estate attorneys and nonprofit leaders have an important opportunity to help broaden the conversation. This presentation will explore the latest University of Minnesota Extension research on Minnesota’s transfer of wealth\, what the data tells us about our region\, and how communities can prepare now to turn a once-in-a-generation transfer of assets into lasting community impact. \nThe Woodbury Community Foundation helps connect people and organizations to causes that matter\, providing flexible charitable giving options that allow individuals and families to support the community they care about today and for generations to come. \nWe hope you’ll join us for this important conversation. \nLimited Seating is Available. Please RSVP by using the link below and registering by November 3rd\, 2026\, to prepare for the evening!\nhttps://woodbury.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create?event_date_id=2419
