Woodbury Celebrates it 50th Anniversary with Huge Family Celebration!

On Saturday, March 25th, over 500 people, many families with young children, descended on Central Park in Woodbury to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the birth of Woodbury.  Hosted by the Woodbury Community Foundation, in partnership with the City of Woodbury, the event was a testimonial to the storied history which residents of Woodbury hold dear.  Working together with the Merrill Community Arts Center, Woodbury Senior Living, the Woodbury Heritage Society, the Woodbury YMCA, Washington County Library, League of Women Voters of Woodbury-Cottage Grove, Big Frog Custom T-shirts, Centerpoint Marketing, and the Artists of Woodbury, the Woodbury Firefighter Alumni Fund, Woodbury Public Safety, the Bruce Stafford Public Safety K9 Fund, and CCEFS, there were dozens of activities throughout the Y, Central Park and the Library for kids of all ages.  Amazing food was provided by Kowalski’s and Piada Italian Street Food, and music by KDWB.
