What Is Youth Leadership Development?

This program is a 5-week service learning, leadership development and entrepreneurial program. It’s designed to give students who are incoming seniors (grade 12) opportunities to develop critical skills necessary for increased community engagement. In the program they will also acquire real world skills to succeed in the business environment and explore entrepreneurship in the 21st century.

Students successfully completing the program and submitting the required essay are eligible to earn a scholarship!

Areas of Focus

Throughout the program, teens will be exposed to three main themes:


PAUL REBHOLZ CITIZEN SCHOLARSHIPS

There will be one $5,000  SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED TO a YOUTH ENGAGEMENT LEADERSHIP ACADEMY Graduate.  The recipient will need to attend and participate in all 5 sessions and write an Essay (up to 500 words) .  The essay assignment will be presented at the First Session of YELA and the deadline will be at the beginning of Session Four.  The Scholarships will be announced at Session Five / Graduation Night and presented at The Rebholz Golf Tournament/Fundraiser.
