Attention Woodbury nonprofits: The Woodbury Community Foundation (WCF) is once again proud to offer Community Grants to invest in local nonprofits which are making a difference in our community.
WCF will give special consideration to funding nonprofit projects that address one of four strategic focus areas that have been identified by the community as areas of local concern in 2022. They include:
WCF is committed to addressing racial and economic disparities. Proposals that demonstrate they foster inclusiveness and address disparities will be given priority.
Our 2022 Grants Program will fund grants of up to $1,000-5,000 in the four categories for qualifying nonprofits or government entities, including schools or community organizations, such as coalitions or a collaborative.
Grant application forms are available online at: www.woodburyfoundation.org or mail your completed application and narrative to our office at 724 Bielenberg Drive, Suite #129 in Woodbury, MN 55125. Grant applications are due by 5:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022.

2021 Grant Award Winners
$5,000: Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf for a bilingual program assistant to help the growing Latino population using CCEFS services.
$1,000: Community Thread to improve community health and well-being by helping local kids, disabled individuals and families through its 2021 Holiday Hope.
$1,000: Mental Health Club at Woodbury High School for self-care supplies for teaching healthy coping strategies for students dealing with mental health issues.
$2,000: SoWashCo CARES to support students returning to school this fall dealing with mental health issues and work with mental health experts.
$2,000: Tubman to support legal services for local survivors of domestic violence.
$2,500: Woodbury Days to promote healthy lifestyles to several thousand attending the all-volunteer Woodbury Days annual event.
$2,500: Woodbury for Justice and Equality to promote equity and inclusion by organization operating, experiences and free public events.
$2,000: Woodbury Heritage Society to preserve Woodbury history through oral and recorded interviews with community elders and founders.
$2,000: Youth Service Bureau to support youth development with mental and chemical health care issues.
$2,400: Great River Education Consortium. This Grant will provide access and opportunities for post-secondary training and/or job placement with the community for students attending the South Washington Alternative High School.
