City of Woodbury to Explore Environmental Stewardship Initiative

The Woodbury City Council is conducting a workshop to focus on a proposed “Environmental Stewardship Strategic Initiative”.

The City staff has studied its environmental and resiliency programs the past six months, and will be presenting a white paper with the results of this study. Council members will consider the results and set direction for the Parks and Natural Resources Commission’s work to develop a proposed Environmental Stewardship Strategic Initiative over the next few months. 
 
The workshops are open to the public. Residents can hear the reports and the ensuing discussions. Celebrate Winter with Winter Fest & Blizzard Bash Events
Saturday, January 29 – Winter FestWinter Fest will be held at Lake Elmo Park Reserve between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Enjoy the free use of snowshoes, and learn how to kick-sled. Free with vehicle permit.
 
Saturday, February 19 – Blizzard Bash
Sample the best of winter with the new Blizzard Bash at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park on February 19 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Event will include an ice fishing demonstration, free use of snowshoes, kick-sleds, food trucks, a bonfire with s’mores and much more! Free with vehicle permit.
