Join us for 2nd meeting of our awesome new volunteer group- the Woodbury Champions!

Thank you to the 32 people who were able to stop by our first Woodbury Champions meeting on August 26th. What an awesome turnout for a first meeting of the group — Great people and great interest in learning about what is happening in the community. We had a short informational meeting and then the rest of the time was networking and meeting new people from all over Woodbury.
For those that could not make the meeting, are you looking to be more involved in giving back to needs in our community? Our vision is to develop a Champions group of citizens who will help serve as ambassadors, advocates and liaisons for the Foundation around charitable work in the Woodbury area as well as to become more involved with WCF committees and programs. Our goals include hosting regular social get togethers and happy-hours at local establishments maybe 6 to 8 times a year. This will help us get connected to more people in our large community and help us develop stronger relationships with a more diverse group of the city. The get togethers will have some short informal presentations from local non-profits and volunteers who can keep the group informed and then there will be time to talk network with all that attend. Come for some appetizers, drinks and a casual evening of networking. Help us make sure Woodbury continues to be a great place for ALL.
