Woodbury Community Foundation will kick off the giving season to raise funds and awareness for our efforts which benefit local families.
[Woodbury], Minn. – Woodbury Community Foundation will partner with nonprofit organization GiveMN to participate in Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s homegrown giving holiday, on Thursday, Nov. 14. The annual 24-hour online fundraiser, now in its 11th year, has raised more than $170 million for more than 10,000 Minnesota-based causes. Donors can visit GiveMN.org to find a cause they care about, and donate anytime from November 1 to 14.

“On the heels our of annual fundraiser Chef Fest, we are looking forward to raising even more to help support our local families ” said Christie Denson, Marketing Chair of WCF. “We rely 100% on donations to keep things running. Every dollar help us continue to give grants, run our programs and support our partner funds.”
In addition, GiveMN and its partners will award $100,000 in prizes to nonprofits and schools through Golden Ticket drawings. Event organizers work with funders and partners each year to plan Give to the Max Day as a celebration of the important work nonprofits and schools do in Minnesota communities.
